About the Event
NLMTC will host the African American Symposium & 3rd Annual Black History Image & Heritage Awards . This training will be offered to local Tulare County stakeholders, public, and special guest. The event will begin at 12:00 pm and end at 3:00 pm and include a lunch for all attendees.
Segment #1 will feature Dr. Harriet Green
Dr. Green a licensed psychiatrist who has 38 years of experience. Her specialties include Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. She speaks Spanish and English. Dr. Green will cover the interquels of medication usage in mental health.
Segment #2 will feature Dr. Ramar Henderson
As an assistant professor at Fresno St, Dr. Henderson worked in the Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling at the Kremen School for Education and Human Development. There he started the Racial Healing Circle at Fresno State, to provide a dedicated space to help…
