About the Event
Juneteenth celebrations commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and are marked by various events such as parades, festivals, and educational activities. These celebrations have evolved over the years and can take place in diverse settings, from community gatherings to formal events.
New Life Ministries (NLM) aims to use the historical day of freedom as a calayst to promote mental health services. By pivoting from the day in history when all people were set free from slavery, NLM sets a goal for all people to be free from life's struggles. NLM stays commited to "Building Bridges Over Troubled Waters".
